Rosemary Crackers

low carb crackers with rosemary

Entertaining is an important element in my life.

I love cooking, and I love cooking for family and friends. I will often start or finish a meal with a cheese board. What to replace the wheat-based crackers has been a struggle, but I have found this recipe, which has been a game changer.

They are quick to prepare and are delicious, even on their own!

These crackers are the perfect combination of salty goodness with rosemary and parmesan flavour.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 170 C.
  2. Mix together the almond flour, cheese, hemp seeds and rosemary.
  3. Add the egg to the melted butter and give a good whisk.
  4. Pour this mixture into the dry ingredients and mix till it forms a ball. I find it easiest to squeeze it together.
  5. Roll out between two sheets of baking paper till it is about 2-3mm thin.
  6. I like to score into shapes with a sharp knife at this point.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let rest. When cool, snap the crackers apart.
